LED strip parameter calculator — what these four numbers decide
Voltage, run length, luminous flux per metre and power per metre are the four inputs every other LED strip calculation depends on. Total wattage is power per metre multiplied by run length; system current is that wattage divided by system voltage; efficacy is lm/m divided by W/m.
Enter them once on this page and every ProCalc module — voltage drop, wiring layout, IP and environment, dimming and cutting, lux target, dot-free advisor and the spectrum reporter — computes with the same numbers, with no re-entry.
Total wattage, system current and lm/W efficacy
A 14.4 W/m tape over a 5 m run draws 72 W before driver losses; size the power supply at roughly 120 per cent of that so it never sits at full load. The same 72 W draws 6.0 A at 12 V, 3.0 A at 24 V and 1.5 A at 48 V, which is why long architectural runs move to higher system voltages or linear constant-current tape.
Efficacy is luminous flux per metre divided by power per metre: 2667 lm/m at 14.4 W/m is about 185 lm/W. That figure drives the EU energy label class, the running cost and the thermal budget of the aluminium profile.
Load real DENO product parameters instead of guessing
The product library on this page reads every public DENO model together with its measured photoelectric matrix and fills in voltage, maximum run length, lm/m and W/m automatically. Search by ordering code or keyword, pick a model, and the whole ProCalc suite recalculates against the tape the factory actually ships. Any selection can be shared as a link in the form /procalc/params?model=<product-slug>.

Turn the calculated parameters into a manufactured specification
Once voltage, run length, lm/m and W/m are settled, DENO manufactures to them: bespoke FPCB width, copper weight, LED pitch, cut unit, IP construction and colour target, produced as OEM under your brand or as ODM from your performance brief.
